About Me & My Business's
& Business Opportunities
My name is Alan Maillet, I am 50 yrs old and several years ago, I decided that
that there was no way I would ever be able to retire on just social security or if it would even be available
when the time comes, I had no retirement package or 401K or anything! That and the main fact that
I was just tired of working for someone else, making them money!
I started researching ideas, surfing the Internet for business opportunities, both on line and off , that and looking
at myself ,deciding that I needed to change some things, so I started figuring out what my interests were, what
I was good at and liked to do and decided to start some business's of my own. Both on the Internet and off.
And I'll be perfectly honest with you, I haven't made much money so far, but that doesn't mean I'm going
to stop trying, The fact is I have MY OWN Internet business's and other business's now.
And in any business venture, it takes time, patience and work to make it happen and statistically, it can
take several years even before a business really takes off and starts making a profit.
But you have to take the first step or it never will, that's for sure!
My goal is to be completely self employed and working for myself , someday earning enough money for a decent income
or second income between my Internet Business's and my other Business's, and I know it will happen.
Getting rich is not my goal, working for myself, being self supporting and learning as much as I can
about Internet Business's is , since they seem to be the best way for me to go.
Although if I happen to get rich in the process, oh well!
There is no such thing as get rich quick! Unless you happen to win the lottery and even then
You Have To Take The First Step and buy a ticket!
In the past few years I have created and set up several websites and web stores and off line business's. I have
an extensive background in Automotive Parts and Truck Parts , both in sales and buying.
Along with an accounting , management and retail sales background.
With this experience I have learned a lot about people, vendors and suppliers, customers
and general business knowledge.
I was pretty good on the Internet, but knew nothing about Websites or Internet Business's.
Now I know much more too and I learned by doing!
I have just touched the basics so far as far as Internet Business's go, but I'm not giving up, the Internet is filled with
Business Opportunities. Both on line and off line
The beauty of it all is I have gotten this far and have spent little or nothing of my
hard earned money!
But the important part of all of this is, I took the first step! Now it's you turn. It doesn't take a college graduate
or a rocket scientist to have your own Business or Internet Business. It doesn't take a lot of money even,
just some patience,some of your spare time,
a willingness to do some research along with the work and want to learn.
Sure, I could write a book or something and tell you how I've done it so far and sell it to you or something,
but then you wouldn't learn a thing, That's me, not you! You have to do what's right for YOU, find your niche,
decide how much time, effort and money you can afford to spend on Your Internet Business.
My idea is to give you the directions and links to business opportunities I have researched and feel are a good bet,
so that you can research the ideas yourself and decide what it is you want to do. Over time, I intend on adding
on my site, a variety of business opportunities for you to check out and some tips and basics on what you have to
do to set up your own business and get it going without spending a lot or even nothing. I'm only speaking about
the money, you still have to do the work and learn as you go just like I have and continue to do all the time .
